Alfoster Garrett, Jr.

Attorney Alfoster Garrett, Jr., “AG,” was born in Youngstown, Ohio but raised in South Central California after his parents relocated to Lynwood when he was 5. At age 16, AG returned to Ohio to escape the violence of South Central California. He finished high school in Akron, Ohio and received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Denison University. After graduation AG, a basketball player, attempted to compete professionally with stints in Puebla, Mexico and other countries. He returned to California and began working as a counselor with at-risk inner-city youth for the city of Paramount, California. He received his J.D. from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in 1999 and moved to the state of Washington.

After working for a couple of large firms, both as a defense and plaintiff’s attorney, AG opened the Law Offices of Alfoster Garrett, Jr. in 2003. Now with seven years of practice experience ranging from insurance defense, bankruptcies, product liability, employment claims, condominium act claims, criminal defense, medical malpractice, auto accidents and other personal injury claims, AG has focused his practice in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury protection. While a solo practitioner, AG has handled countless criminal trials and personal injury litigation claims. An avid and experienced litigator, he has a proven track record and has achieved favorable results for many clients. (Testimonials).

AG chose to focus in the area of criminal defense among other areas because he firmly believes the system, although the best in the world, is not infallible. It is a system created by man, run by man; therefore, it possesses the same imperfections as man. He lives by the words “those who profess to teach us virtue are the same ones who would enslave us.”
